Hi

i am actually playing WitP CHS game and i have already played an AE game.
In both, i sometimes have a big trouble.
I have graphic bugs, the game slows down and finally is completely blocked.
I show you some screens coming from WitP CHS campaign but it is the same with AE.

I only have this painful problem when there is a night naval battle, on Vista, on CHS or AE installation.
If my memory is good, i never had this trouble with vanilla WitP.

Someone has an idea?

Works fine on my Vista. I haven't used CHS though. However if I leave the game running say over night. Then my fire, gunfire and explosion graphics dissappaer. Then I need to restart from the previous days game turn. A bit of a pain.

This happens to me if I alt tab out of the game while loading, or say on the save game screen.

In my experience the game doesn't like to be minimized and then re-maximized.

I think this is more likely to be your problem.

If you quit the game and reload CLEANLY and still have problems then you have an issue.

I probably have because it makes it systematically for the last turn.
But what issue?

If i run this turn on XP, no problem.

CHS was a mod for the original WitP that was contributed to by many individuals...many of whom went on to be part of the AE Development Team.

IIRC CHS stood for Combined Historical Scenario.

Try less ALT-TABbing and run the game in windowed mode. Hope this helps.
