I have a fleet stationed at a planet. The fleet consists of some warships and some assault transports.
I unload the troops from the assault transports to the planet, and order the the assault transports to fly to another planet.
End turn.
The planet is attacked. I choose intercept with the warships that stayed behind.
I autoresolve the battle because the attacker is only a single ship (a colony ship of some time I think).
The battle report correctly shows that only my warships take part in the intercept (not the troops on the planet).
The AI's finish their turn, and my turn begins. Now the troops on the planet are gone.

Can probably be easily reproduced. Otherwise savegames reproducing the bug can be supplied.
