Haven't you got some aircraft maintenance you need to fail at?

Nope. In fact I think you'll find that I am a reliable member of a team working to tight deadlines under high pressure situations whilst providing a high yield output in support of UK and international operations.

Or I would be if I wasn't away from base learning how to be a civilian and get one of those job things I hear so much about when I leave.

For the record, you INP'ed with "THE THREAD" in the subject line and then went back to edit it to the unspeakable. That's so cheating, it's not even funny.

It's not as laughable as INP'ing two posts early.

Oh INP!

Well I would have got away with it if those pesky kids hadn't got there with their 10 posts first

Liked Hall Pass and Hangover pt 2 both. I'd say something about being Irish and Dublin but . . . .

Middle of "nowhere"? Could that be me, by chance?

I'll have you know I'm in the middle of everything! Right smack, dab in the middle! (Now how do I get back to the edge?).

Yep, it's you .
I should not laugh about Nowherebraska: a quick look on Google Earth show me that Omaha is twice or 3 times wider than Grenoble and it's subburb .
My apologies.
And my best thoughts Steve

A nice surprise...

I stepped out of the office a few minutes ago to go pick up lunch and heard a loud racket. I looked up to see one of my favorite WW2 aircraft, a B25, flying overhead. I love air show weekend.

Now I need to go over to give them the map coordinates for Emperor ChezDaJez's domicile forty miles south of here...

You know-some people try to do some policing around here and get nothing but complaints for their efforts. It's your type (well, not Martians, but that other type) that are responsible for this sad state of affairs as we live under the log!

Got told today that my CV* needed to be 'more geeky' after being told yesterday that it shouldn't be too technical.  I've teched it up now, maybe I should go through and replace as much as possible with TLAs so beloved of the military and technical worlds.

Alright. Talk about your computer gaming and enjoyment of text-based wargames. That oughta do it. Did you play Dungeons and Dragons in school? Other RPGs? Chess club?

ETA: I was never in chess club.

That's tragic. Even the chess club thought you weren't cool enough. You can tell us, the character Oggy in role-models... He's based on you right?
