Woof !! Found the ultimate BBQ place here on the Eastern Shore. A wonderful word-of-mouth hole in the wall that has brisket and pulled pork and chicken and sausage and bears, oh my. So went to get some brisket and was chatting with the dude about sauces and such, and he says "try this". ......... way woof !

He had marinated some full sirloins in a poblano, andilla, vinegar, onion, garlic sauce for 2 days and started smoking them at 1:00 am for himself and his buds. Had maybe 4 pounds left and thought I might like some of it. Freakin duh ! Bought it all and got on his list ! He has 12 pots of sauce going. Bit of this and a bit more of that makes one of his take-outs. Less of that and more of this and a shot of pepper vinegar makes another. If he lets you in the kitchen and your tongue can dig it, you can make a sirloin/sauce combo that will make Davey Crockett go Nan Deska !

Read this after lunch. Now I want to go get some BBQ

Sounds like a nice find.

Sorry weird bird, I beg to disagree, but I like blended as well, but not as much. I have a pretty servicable Japanese blended scotch for when I play "The baddies". Suntory vs. Saki? It all depends on how well I'm doing!

Yeah, but the Allies still have a chance in late 1945-1946 to break even. Don't feel too bad, dude. Oh, wait...were you talking about our 2x2 PBEM?

You've got a 2x2 going? Really, with who?

Interview today went quite well.  I got some "instant feedback" from the hiring manager.  I'd put this job 3rd on my most desired list of my currently active leads, but easily above unemployed status.

Should hear something one way or another about this one tomorrow or the next day.

Mike, are they all looking for a similar position to be filled or will the three different active leads draw from different aspects of your background than one another?

WHAT????? And WHY didn't I get the memo!!!?????Thanks a lot "Partner". Now your not only holding back on turns on "our" game, now your holding back on "their" game. I'm totally annoyed! I'll have to beat up on Dixie. Or Panzer Jager!

You may want to familiarize yourself with the AAR section "Oh No...THREAD war" posting of Mynok's from Sunday am, dude...

They really are 3 different type of jobs. Two are software QA, where in one I would be the entire "QA department", while the third is a "data QA" type position. That one was today. Would be interesting for a while, but I don't know how much my QA skills could grow there. I won't be turning it down if they offer, though!

Blended? What's the point? I'll go with the Limey on this one. Single malt is generally a better drink.

Single Malt gets my vote. Even a sweet young highland single malt beats most blended concoctions. The only saving grace of blended, as far as I'll concede, is that the product is consistent.
