Yep thats right. Evidence is all over the bill I got at my post office today eh. I mailed to three places today eh (local as in home province of Ontario), Australia, and to the southern US. The local and the US destination both had 2 cds included with a christmas card and a letter I wrote, the Australian was just a card and a letter though. Bought two special bubble envelopes for the cds and I even added weight by encasing the cds in card stock.
My total expenses for all three items, was less than 6 dollars Canadian. Now that says a lot I think. Shipping does NOT require horrendous expenses. Ordinary mail here folks. I used ordinary mail. I am looking forward to Combat Leader (man I can hardly wait for developement to finish). And it will be shipped to me via my girlfriend in Missouri who will order it within the USA you can bet eh. Silly shipping costs....not going to happen to this guy. Well thats my final take on shipping expenses being crazy. What shipping expenses... I dont see any crazy shipping expenses hehehehe.

Unfortunately how you mail 3 items has little to do with how a business operates. We understand that the restrictions we have are not popular...But we are not exactly in a position to make demands on Banks and UPS as to their policies regarding delivery guarentees. Its unfortunately become quite popular to order things parcel post and claim you did not get them and charge back your credit card. With no delivery guarentee such "internet shoplifting" is a problem and banks are starting to crack down against it, starting with small guys like us that are just signing on... We have to accept credit cards, obviously to sell on the web, so we have to follow the rules of the bank. They require a signature, so we have to. That may change as grow, but right now, to a bank, we cost them more to administer than we make them...and while they are betting that will change, we have restrictions until we prove ourselves.

I should clarify I guess Paul. Matrix does a good job of delivering to us guys, even with the current processes. My thoughts were mainly aimed at those individuals outside of the US mainly. Its such an incredibly simple matter to solve and beggars the imagination that foreign purchasers have such troubles. I can only conclude that I am several magnitudes smarter than most people potentially (yes I said that dudes).
I send the funds to a friend in the US. They order the item from you and it arrives in its own good time using your current methods. With less funds than my friend is likely to even care about mentioning, and it arrives in my mailbox. I incur no hassles and no troubles. As for delays, well I have seen a lot of posts. I think some people just cant bear waiting sometimes.
But then I have heard one to many computer users lament about "speed" in connection with computers. It boggles me how people can get in such a state.
But then again, I am "truely" a "real" wargammer. To me a wargame that has a 3 hour turn is just an indication of a fine example of a truely vintage monster board wargame eh. So waiting is something I do with great ease. Pre order heheh nah not that impatient. When I see on your site that Combat Leader is now on sale, I will get in line.

Yea, Delivery options for lots of things stink...where I live USPS is actually the best option...they put it in the mailbox, or the front door...since I live in the country this works fine....Tell UPs, Fedex, et al to leave a box and it's Oh no can't do that.....Disapointing that a govermet agency meets their customers needs, and some private guys can't....
