I generally like this game's UI; for a wargame at least it "works" for me and most of my high frequency operations are reasonably streamlined e.g. movement, combat, airstrikes, etc.
However ...
The UI for changing HQ is annoying.
Select stack of units.
Select single unit.
Right click HQ link.
Choose.
Repeat 3X for a full stack.
Would it be so hard to put a hotkey of "change HQ for selected", like, oh, SHIFT-C?
That'll immediately bring up the choose HQ link and set all selected units to same.
Likewise ...
SU allocation is tedious.
It feels like a Towers of Hanoi problem
First I move the SU to my army HQ
Then I move the SU to my army group
Then I move the SU to a different army HQ
Then I move the SU to a different corps HQ
Now I repeat that about 20 times to move my siege train from 18th army to 11th army.
Would it be so game-breaking to have an option to "return SU to pool".
Charge me 2 AP, put it in transit for 4 weeks, then let me allocate it freely to any unit in the game?
If you still want to micromanage your SUs to shave a week or two off the transit time, more power to you, but if its the mud season and you have 5 weeks of downtime anyway, why not use it to get your SU's sorted?
