The official patch wont copy the DLL to your tracker directory (or directories). You will need to do that yourself. A couple of posts in front of this is a link to the Tech forum where a new generic DLL is available for download. Unzip that file to replace the old pwsdll.dll file into where tracker has been installed.
I have a game running on Tracker but want to get rid of it and put another game in. I have changed the save file part but when I open Tracker it is still displaying the old info and then when I ask it to load the turn it says the turn is a lower number than already read before.

Ok I have a new game started in a separate install, running fine. I have copied the tracker folder (working) from another game, deleted the db files and edited the properties file. It should work fine - but its not. here is what i am seeing....

I'm experiencing the same thing as Roger. Tracker worked well until a couple of days ago. I recollect that a java update was released around the same time a tracker stopped working. I wonder if that has anything to do with it?
I've done all the various things recommended to made tracker work again but none has worked.

Looks like it didn't load any aircraft. I would double-check which DLL (pwsdll.dll) file you're using.
what have you installed new, the game or the tracker? I reinstalled java and the tracker and copied the pwsdll from the gamefolder, Beta and Beta2 but nothing works. My game is patched to 1.0.6.1108p2. Any hints?

Quick question. I'm running two day turns. How do I get Tracker to read both the turns?
You need to read in each turn one after another. Probably easier to do this via the Multi-turn read function and manually select the save files.
Floyd
There's a variable in the properties file you should set. TurnCycle=[2]
I use tracker extensively with 2 day turns, and the only problem I have is that it usually (always?) only reads day 2 of the sigint. So you lose half the sigint. (Damian has looked at this and for him he gets both days read, so YMMV)
When i go to industry-> Oil&Res und want to show history for Region Japan i get a wrong region displayed when under industry->Supply&Fuel a other region then japan was selected before. This seems to be buggy, in Oil&Res i should see the history of the in that tab selected region no matter what region i choosed in the other tabs before.
I use tracker 1.80 under Win7 64bit.
Many thanks to the devs for their great work. What would i do without that program ?

That variable is just for the SigInt files. You'll always need to explicitly read in each turn's save game file.
And it was me that looked at your problem - just could never figure it out...
I've been away from AE for over a year so please excuse me if I'm asking something that has been previously covered. Have used Tracker in the past a lot with no problems. Trying to get Tracker running now though and ran into a similar problem as a previous poster. Am I understanding correctly that JAVA's newest update does not allow Tracker to run? I am running WITPAE 1106i (last official patch) and unfortunately with Java's latest patch. Also tried using the generic .dll file as well as the one in the games main file.

It is actually Windows' patches that are at fault - 'dependent libraries'. You need to get hold of the x86_redist.exe from Microsoft and install that. There should be a link earlier in this thread for this - I can't remember it at the moment.
Copying the generic pwsdll.DLL (from the Beta2 directory or also in this thread) to the tracker install directory should have alleviated the need to get the updated microsoft libraries.

I've got tracker working on my Win 7 64bit machine with WITPAE 1106i but multiturn read doesn't work. It reads the first turn of my campaign ok as pointed to be the properties file but it doesn't find anymore turns. If I try multiturn read and pointing to my SAVE directory it just says no more turns to load! Any idea how I can get tracker to load multiple turns?

This might be a graphics glitch with a load of turns loaded - but I'll have another look Cheers

Are you pointing to the right directory? If you have daily saves enabled these go into another dir under Saves ... Maybe a Screen shot of the directory would help - multiturn read is fairly specific. Please read the info on the tracker site. Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. Think I have sorted it as seems I needed to check all.pws, not sure why!
If its still useful to you I can get you a screenshot shortly but my SAVE folder has no subfolders at all as I don't use autosaves or archive options so all my same games and various txt files (sigint etc) are in the SAVE folder directly.
My properties file for tracker is:-
Dir=[C:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition] GameType=[0] Side=[1] Password=[abc123] SaveFile=[wpae003.pws] SaveMode=[1] Header=[wpae003] TurnCycle=[2]
I downloaded and installed Java and vcredist_x86.exe before installing Tracker. Any thoughts?

Ah - In that case you'll need to rename your saves (daily archiving - will do this auto for you - see witp-ae program switches) such as below from the tracker web site ...
To keep a large number of turns, a good idea would be to take the save games and name them with a turn number. For example, if your slot is 22, the save file name is wpae022.pws. So you can keep turn one as wpae022.pws.001 and turn two as wpae022.pws.002, etc. This works nicely for the Multi-Turn reading function.
ORIGINAL: khyberbill I can't get tracker to run. First time I have tried to use this program in AE. Below is the screen shot of the DOS message next to the file. ...
I copied the java.exe to the Tracker file. Now I get this message. I do have vcredist_x86.exe installed.
What do you have in the Lib folder ? you should have 3 files ... hsqldb.java, jcommon-1.0.14.java and jfreechart-1.0.11.java.
Also from looking at your previous screen shot I'd do 2 things. 1. Install Tracker in it's own location away from your witp-ae install. If you want it with matrix games - do it as c:\matrixgames\Tracker 2. Delete all the trackerdb.* files
