I want this game! Ohh, why would you want this old retro, when you can have REAL WARGAMES like Hasbro's Axis & Allies: Iron ****z, or Hasbro's Squad Leader! :P Those two really left their mark in the day (in one way or another...) This was actually a very nice & quick scenario, I think I literally won that in the last hours of the battle. I thought it would be much harder earlier, though I MAY have got a bit lucky in places (not too sure). I do know I made a few tactical errors. I perhaps should not have moved my one panzer company around in travel posture (especially so close to enemy aromour), so I was just asking to lose a squad there. I got lazy and let the auto-pathfinder do its shortest path to the hex I wanted. What I SHOULD have done was manually select each hex of path so that I could safely move around those counters. Another mistake I made at the end was I didn't use my last air-support on the last 2 hours of daylight to hit something. Since I can't call them in during the last turn anyway (night time conditions), I had nothing to lose. On a 4 or less I would have scored an extra hit against that U.S. artillery for example, which escaped death on me during one turn. Speaking of errors, I see in one shot I accidentally used 02:00 to mean 14:00 military time as well. Well, this is why my last name isn't Rommel. I will probably see about doing another AAR, I'm trying to get a feel for a good way to get the feel & easy-to-follow ques in there. I think I am on the right track so far... The only problem is I also have more proof reading I wanted to do with the last version of the manual again, and we are already over-due with that, so I can't keep doing everything at once but I will see what I can do.
