So my wife is at work and I'm home playing AE. I get a text from her asking me if I got any fresh Japs. I text her back telling her about my next planned operation and she responses, lol no, did you pickup any fresh jalapeno's? I thought it was funny.

I hope you won't mind me mentioning a similar misunderstanding. Years ago, my wife and I were in the car enroute to a camping trip. She, I thought coquettishly, turned to me and said, "Did you bring protection?"

Somewhat surprised that she would be so bold, I gave her my best rugged look and replied, "I'm not sure, I'll have to check my toiletry kit."

"No, I mean a gun," she said scornfully.

I was crushed.

Obviously you have not been married long

After 26 years, if my wife gets frisky it catches me totaly by surprise. I'll be like " Your scratching the wrong place", and get an "OH GEEZ" as she rather pointedly flops the other way

I've told her she needs to walk the dog more often if she wants it to know how to hunt!
