There is only one drawback that I have found with PCO and that is the inability to play the game via the internet other than by PBEM, at least I haven't heard any different. If I am wrong, please correct me. When I first started playing the CM games, et al., I seemed to be downloading mods, scenarios, and campaigns more than I was playing the game. Of course, my poor old computer at that time couldn't handle some of the nicer skins but I downloaded them in the hope that I would have a computer in the future that could. Well, I got one (better computer) but I never saved all those mods, scenarios, and campaigns and most of them are long, long gone. Okay, that had nothing to do with this thread at all. Well maybe it did. When I was downloading all those new toys there were quite a bit guys playing the CM games. I was able to play a few but had to quite when the old computer quite. PCO has lit that fire under my wargaming ass again. I do hope that more people will hear of this game and start playing it, patch or no patch. It is just too good a game not to promote it outside of the normal ways a game are promoted these days. I might even begin my own website for the game but I have to get the upgrades done to my current computer before I can do anything else, playing the game with anyone or doing another website. Okay, I've rambled on enough. As I said, PCO is definitely a GREAT game. I tip my hat to those that designed the game and hope that I can be of some help with any future projects. Take care all.
