I re-installed PCO onto my Patriot SSD drive. I also set my pagefile to this same drive instead of the big C: drive (old sata). Even with the 2 GB memory and '2006' platform with XP, the game now runs in a reasonable fashion.

I do need a bigger monitor.

I don't see the mouse issues that I saw on my win7 laptop.� It runs as smooth as CMBN (demo) does or any of the CMx1 games did.

I added a video card and it made a big difference.

I have an older Gateway system. I did upgrade it with a DDR2 1gb vid card
