The Rumanians surrender on turn 31

Yes I suck and this is in my first PBEM game as Germany.

No not an invasion, I only got as far as the river east of Odessa (about 4 hexes) and he was able to take Odessa and cross the river west of the city, I guess that must trigger the surrender because i didnt know until the troops i was sending thru the country all of a sudden were unable to use rail. I have not real idea how to us the German forces against the checkerboard defense a human player puts up and i just never got far enough east
