Looking for some help

Is there any reason why the H3 and H3ANW screens after they boot, are not capable of being expanded to the extent of the display. Right now they occupy only 1/4 of the screen. The other two versions (Harpooon 97 & Classic) look to be okay.

Running on Toshiba 505 Satellite, Windows 7, Intel core i3 CPU M330 2.13 Ghz

Installed RAM 4.0GB 64-bit operating system.

Have screen message

"Unsupported color depth

Can't continue. Something seriously wrong with the graphics (out of date video drivers?)

Have updated Nvidia GeForce GT 330 M Display Drivers with no improvement.

Suggestions?

I understand that you need to use the Harpoon 3 launcher (h3launcher.exe) to set the video resolution.

The H3 Launcher (available on the menu) allows you to set a specific resolution OR full screen if you have XP.

There is an issue w Vista/Win7 and our graphics code that usually makes the full screen mode unusable on many graphics cards. What you do is manually set the resolution in the launcher to 1 -2 pixels less than your maximum screen size.

We are working on an update to the Launcher to make it easier for folks to max the display size. We'll post it for beta testing when it's ready in September.

Thanks for playing!

Yes, one of the big improvements that ANW brings (via hlauncher) is the infinitely variable window size which allows you to take advantage of any size monitor you may have. Works great on my odd-but-awesome 1400x1050 Toshiba tablet.
