After a year off from the game, I am appealing for your help in configuring the command line switches so I can again play WitpAE. I have installed WitpAE on a newer machine, i7 quad core, and am having a number of issues:

- Text (where text should be) appears as colored blocks; yellow or black.
- Menu, preference and unit screens are abysmally slow in input/response changes
- Lots of text "remnants" left on screen before/after combat animations and throughout the op turn.
These are rendering the game unplayable as-is.

I have spent the better part of 2-1/2 hrs trying to configure Command Line Switches, but to no avail on this machine. I realllly don't want to go back to my old P4 running XP... Could someone kindly suggest a command line format that might be of help?

Use the -dd_sw switch

This is the one I use:

-fd �altfont �px1920 �py1080 �cpu2 -deepcolor

When you find one you like save it as a word/txt file and then reuse it each time you upgrade.
