Autumn started about two weeks ago. And Christmas began last Monday, when a local hotel here began advertising Christmas parties.

Sounds like a claim of ownership to me. However in her defense , women are insecure creatures. Bringing a nude of her out of the closet, no matter how tastefully done, is bound to set her fear factor racing. You might want to bounce the circumstances off a female who's opinion you trust , and get her reaction. I think you'll find that most women are sympathetic to your ex. As a rider you know how to deal with a shy and insecure mare (think high strung Arabian). You won't go too far off the mark if you deal with women the same way. The biggest thing they want from you is security. Be gentle.
