Supernova seems to want to install into a new directory. Shouldn't it install into the same directory as the original Armada?

Supernova installs into a new directory. When you launch the game, it will check wether you have the original game installed or not.

It's similar to Spartan/Gates of Troy from Slitherine. You can basically play either the original game or the addon. It's not like sword of the stars which overwrites the previous version.
