The results were very dissappointing today; I wrote this to Andy! You will see KB making an appearance this turn at PM; it was kinda fluked. I ordered 4 KB and 6 land bases air units to sweep PM. Not a single unit in clear weather performed sweeps. This of course cost lots of planes. In Burma I ordered 100 naval bombers to attack shipping at Ramree Island. Only the tiny Judy unit attacked; you had no CAP and ALL my sweeps and fighters escorted the 5 Judys AM as PM. The only ac that didn't find Ramree were the long range naval bombers. So the KB raid was a fluke because 10 fighter units refused to sweep and the LBA strikes didn't coordinate with KB strikes. Our LBA at Christmas Island got some payback as a convoy to the south got to close. AFTER ACTION REPORTS FOR Mar 02, 44 Sub Attacks Our subs performed well today!
