turn 3

factory evacuation:
Kiev:all
Odessa:3 ARM
Kirovograd:3 ARM

I did one counter-attack in the south and save all the troops in Lvov pocket....

AGN: panzers run out of fuel, so we deploy our troops forwardly

AGC: same as AGN

AGS: panzers are fighting close to rail head, Southwestern front should run to the hill soon

situation at the end of turn 3

The fact that you reopened the Lvov pocket twice may well pay off in the long run. Remember, you can fly supplies in to cut off pockets with an airbase - that has caused me no end of trouble in my game against JAM, he flew in supplies til the bitter end and it was a nightmare finishing off the Lvov Pocket (turn 6 and it still has the last remaining units...)

If you attack a unit in airhead supply, will that unit jump out of the pocket?

AGN: 2PzC buildup, I have to put in more troops in this area.

AGC: no buildup, I can expect slow german advance.

AGS: terrain is great for panzers here, so let's see if he is driving for factories or encirclement.

You're doing well; I'm not a particularly big fan of what your opponent is doing. I think his advances are too narrow, and not particularly good. He also completely missed the Finnish activation; the Finns should easily be able to pin 1 or 2 divisions and destroy them.

Careful of those guys pinned against the Pripet. Any mobile units in there will be lost, unless you can get them to a rail line. If you don't have the rail capacity to get them out, you can disband them, which saves the Vehicles, Men, and equipment(that is a last resort though)

I think his advances is slow too. However, he told me that he has another game going concurrent to this one and he is closer to L-grad/ Moscow compare to his Axis oppponent in that game.

The game is turn 10 now. For 5th Army, they not only escape from Pripet on their feet, but also surround and destroy the German 1st Cavalry division with the help from 21st Army.

Again, I break the Vinnitsa pocket. He seems to drive his panzers too hard. One of his motorized division has a CV of 3
