Bug report for "Malta- Operazione C3".

The problem is that certain Italian units cannot be paradropped in hexes occupied by friendly units nor open hexes. The units in question are parachute infantry and their support units. This only affected the units in certain battalions that I have seen so far. the other ones deploy normally.

What occurs is the unit(s) are embarked and when you move the cursor down to the target hex and right click nothing happens. As an experiment I tried different hexes on both islands and I get the same results. When I repeated this, this time seeing if the unit would move to areas initially under Italian control they obeyed the move command.

Looking at the readmen file doesn't say anything about this nor is it a delay on the unit. You couldn't embark them otherwise.

I have three saves of this problem if needed.

There might be a problem with the theater options. I released certain naval forces and I see there is a delay still. When I compared this to a force where the option wasn't activated I see a delay on them as well. I haven't gone any further here because of the initial problem.

Thanks.

The saves are new games, not from the initial one I started. After the first one I closed and restarted the scenario.

Plesse send a save to erik.nygaard@nrk.no
It would be helpful if you name the offending formation/unit as well.
I had no para problems when testing this scenario.
Note that the Spezia air landing units should only land on a friendly airfield, but that is a house rule only.

Erik

Wow, that was quick.

I have them set up for you with the offending battalion, Erik.

Sometimes the scenarios get messed up from being moved around, I believe. On the other hand, your Crete scenario played superbly.
