For some reason both of my mouse buttons are getting mapped to left-mouse clicks.

In other words, when I do a right click, instead of getting the insanely useful info screens I just select something.

Any ideas???

Hmmm, are you getting "normal" right-click behavior in other applications? If you are not then you have to see if the mouse button is being remapped.

Also, are you cleanly clicking only the right-hand button? Forgive me for asking. But if your mouse has a hair trigger you might be clicking both buttons and the second mouse event would get ignored. I realize that this is unlikely.

OK, if your mouse is otherwise working normally on your system:

How many buttons does your mouse have?

What kind of mouse do you have?

What OS are you running?

Please check the Mouse control panel and see how your mouse is configured. You should see the action assignments and how many buttons the mouse has and so on.

P.S. I did some checking and something I wrote earlier in this post wasn't really correct and could have been confusing. So I edited the post pretty heavily. If anyone double checks the post and detects the somewhat heavy hand of an editor, he is correct.
