AFDB-2 became available at Portland. It is too large to use the Columbia River and cannot leave Portland. Any ideas?

I'm playing stock campaign, using 1106i

Thanks, Ken

It is stuck if playing 1106i.

Newer beta has ability to fix this IIRC.

In 1106i, AFDB-2 arrives at Seattle.

The original arrival location of Portland was changed in v1.00.95; 7 December 2009.

Only if it's not a long running game. I've got the same problem.

Try using this modified map data file, which you need to place in the folder where you have AE installed, then restart AE and load the saved game that has the stuck ship. Be sure to back up the original file first (it is called pwhexe.dat).

Please let me know if you try using this file, and whether it helps or not.

Andrew

PS: EDIT - After "releasing" the ship, I suggest reverting to the original map data file, so that you don't get the Yamato sailing up the river to bombard Portland sometime

Will do, many tanks! Ken

[edit to add:] OK, next move it cleared the Columbia River; that's three hexes, so the river was in flood stage?

Most appreciated. Now for the long haul to Guam!
