Hi!

Engineers can negate rugged defence, is this also true for bridge-engineers?
And where do I find such information, I did not find them in the manual.

No, bridging units don't have the same traits as engineers (fortkiller, meng in the equipment file) and so don't ignore entrenchment/avoid rugged defences. I'm not sure if a list exists anywhere but I used mgarrett's Equipment Editor to check the unit stats, or you can open data\equipment.pzeqp in something like Excel and check it.
