Seems my last couple opponents in this scenario went awol after things started to go up-hill for them (or to hell in a hand-basket) early on, haha.

Looking for any other takers, as I haven't even come close to finishing this one, and haven't even begun to figure out what is optimal here yet.

Hi Obsolete

I'm on for a game if you want. Take which side you like. Should be interesting! What's the best way to set it up?

Cheers

Greetings,

I see you two talking about this game to some degree in the forum. Have the bugs been worked out? I read talk of the withdraw bug causing a problem. Is that fixed?

Thanks!

My take on the withdraw issue is that it's been improved in the last patch (1.03). It's hard to say if it's still bugged or if it is working as intended as getting combat data from the game is a bit hit and miss. Saying that, I'm happy to keep playing the game as its positives significantly outweigh its negatives.

Cheers

I feel it has not been fixed.

And the game still freezes temporarily whilst watching a replay.

Hi Joe

Knew you'd say that

I'm also still getting the screen freeze during direct fire replay ... I think of it as adding to the fog of war! Would be nice though if it didn't do it.

Will try and get to your turns this evening - mad busy at work and trying to get some spare time is a problem at the moment.

Cheers

During the replay, it's never a freeze I get, just sometimes the... how do I put this... tracer fire animations don't always pop-up so to speak (Haha), and I think it's due to specific windows widgets in some way. Not that it's important so it doesn't quite affect me.

@ Pirate, I tried to be fair in the past, and run games simultaneously, one as axis and one as allies (NEVER AGAIN!) Maybe I'm getting too old, but it does cause me a lot of confusion, and so on.

I'm still willing to switch sides, but only one game at a time, haha. I guess I'll try the Brits first, so I can whop on those damned wop Italians! Ok, before anyone jumps on my case for racial/national slurs, keep in mind my GF is American/Italian, so I'm due some breaks here...

I agree that it doesnt freeze. Rather it doesn't respond.

I have been hoping to promote the game all around the wargaming world since last April.

To do so requires posting screen shots. Find attached a typical screen shot.

Can I use this to promote the game?

That's fine with me; know what you mean about confusion and keeping track of turns. PM sent with mail address.

Cheers
