I am nearly finished with my mod and now I have started editing the AI data files. For now what I am doing is editing the AI files in Iron man V3. Till now I edited the one I found in the scenario editor. How do I edit the other scripts ?

I will be asking more questions in this thread regarding the AI files.

Seperate scenarios is the only way then manually rename files

So I have Scen 30 - 60 all as identical scens each AI file gets manually modified then copy all the AI files and rename 001 - 016 etc etc

I did that Andy renamed all Ironman Scenarios to number 30 which is the number I am using. What I meant was is there a way to make the computer follow a particuar script. Basically what I want the AI to do is Invade Australia, India and PH at the same time. I already gave the AI parity in ships with the allies especially DDs and CLs and CVs plus I added a lot of divisions to it. Now I want the AI to attack all these territories phases. I think I already did India by expanding the North Burma Script. How do I do Australia ?

Copy the scenario to new slot and delete all others but one you want to view?

You need to set up 16 new scenarios delete all the AI file3s for those 16 scenarios then rename each variant to be the AI file for that scen

e.g.

Scen 38 aei10 rename to aei38
Scen 39 aei10-001 rename to aei39

etc etc that way you can see all the variants its ciumbersome but the only way

A teensy weensy easier way is to copy a scenario (using 001 for convenience) to an empty folder using a new slot (using 100 for convenience) and then copy ALL aie001(-xx) files to that empty folder, renumber them to aei101(-xx) - yes one number different - and go from there.

Start with aei101.dat - renumber it to aei100.dat; open Scen 100 in the editor and look at the AI Data.
Return aei100 to aei101; rename aei101-01 to aei100. Open Scen 100 in the editor and look at the AI Data.
Return aei100 to aei101-01; rename aei101-02 to aei100. Open Scen 100 in the editor and look at the AI Data.
Return aei100 to aei101-02; rename aei101-03 to aei100. Open Scen 100 in the editor and look at the AI Data.
Return aei100 to aei101-03; rename aei101-04 to aei100. Open Scen 100 in the editor and look at the AI Data.
.
.
Return aei100 to aei101-15; rename aei101-16 to aei100. Open Scen 100 in the editor and look at the AI Data.

Might be a bit more 'space on the hard drive' friendly and make it easier to defrag the HD on those rainy days.
