I probably missed something...

edit:I don't have any of the programs it would support installed right now, I assume that's the problem?

David same problem I had, Here is an easy fix: Go to this website and download Game client 2.01 and install it and then uninstall it. Then install Comabt Net 2.01 and it will work fine, until we can figure out what went amok. I discovered this during beta testing but wasn't fast enough on the results to slow the release.

Ok that sounds plausible. Missing file one program would install that the other needed.

David head to www.artofgregmartin.com

edit:specifically David you want to head to the vault area, that holds all the wallpapers.

Hi Guys

I have updated the Combat Net install ( I was missing a file ) and reuploaded to the FTP. I kept the same file name. So if you downloaded Combat Net 2.01 and had an error please redownload it again and install it. PLEASE let me know if this fixes your problem.

Just got off combat net after a quick battle. Thanks to Viking for hooking it up and giving me my first taste. Much thanks to whoever is taking care of business with the servers and all.

I've never gamed on-line before so I don't know squat about Combat Net. Could someone give me a little briefing on the software and how it works and how you log on and the various things that make it better than other software of it's type. Might want to try it some day.

Thanks.

You need to uninstall old version, then install new version. You will have to recreate a new account. Give that a try and let us know.

Has Combat Net serve gone down. I've tried numerous times since Sunday morning to connect, but I only get as far as the "connecting to server box". I was connected ok Saturday evening.

Anyone have news?

Thanks,
Rick

Just thought I'd let folks know that apparently the server was donw. At least it seems to be working fine now (although it's ususally empty).
