I recently tried to upgrade an air group. When I hit the upgrade button, I got a message that "group cannot upgrade until withdrawn". That same message comes for some other air groups, but not all. I hadn't encountered this feature before. How does it work, please? (Do I set the upgrade and then hit the withdraw button?) (Is there a thread I should read?)

I am playing Beta 1108q9 (I can't upgrade as fast as MichaelM does his magic. By the way, MichaelM does not really exist. That is just a pen name for a team of 25 wizards who work 24/7 duty watches.)

I think you are probably playing with 'withdraw off' which means you can only upgrade the groups that would have been withdrawn once they do, and then return. it is another reason why the folks that squeal about that option are overstating the problem.

darbymcd.... Thank You! I am playing with withdrawal off. I want to get my arms around some other mechanics first.
