He should try playing one of his personalities. I fear that it would just degrade into a flame war. Still, some doctoral psych candidate may be able to pull a case study out of it.

1000 pages is when we usually retire an edition of THE THREAD!!! and start a new one. We learned in the past that letting it get too large can cause problems with the forum software, so we don't take chances any more. I can't remember for sure, but I believe there were 4 versions of THE THREAD!!! in the WitP forum, and this is the second AE edition.

Nik, or should I say snowboy. 3 degrees this morning. Still the nice side of winter.

Jeff, sorry I couldn't join in the 2x2. Can't wait to hear how the game is coming along when it gets started.

Hi all,

ORIGINAL: Nikademus

In honor of Dr Demento and this favorite song of mine.......i learned this week that my Ex and her "Country Boy" have moved to Pasco Wa where the latter owns a family house and has gotten a new job there.......most likely one involving farm animals.

I google mapped Pasco WA out of curiosity.

She was right. There was no way i was going to support a move to a place in the middle of nowhere where the premier yearly event is the Farmer's market.

While i am sad at this final "closure of the closure" which reopened the scab that was slowly healing.......i feel better every time i take a virtual drive down the main street of "downtown" Pasco. yuk!

So she moved away... good for you Nik!

Yes......it is a good thing now that i've had a week+ to mull it over. It did cause some relapse emotion of course. I was warned this was natural, aided by the fact that this blessed event comes less than 1 year after she left me for this turkey. But thx to the magic of googlemaps......i really do feel better I don't have to worry about running into them anymore, low as that chance was. This year's Salmon Days festival in Issaquah had some tension due to that. It "used" to be her favorite event of the year but that was then. Now.....she doesn't care about anything outside of her Herd.

From what i've seen of Pasco WA......she'll have nothing else to do BUT take care of that Herd now. I will miss my mare terribly however. My last link gone. Time to write the next chapter I guess.

In honor of the blessed event, I posted this link on my FB page. Felt it was a very fitting send off.

The remake (your link) didn't hold a candle to the original. Typical grunge teen angst hyper-violent mysogonist rubbish. Sorry, Nik-but it's not in the spirit of the original.

Cute nurse uniforms though.

Ah but this version is far superior on the dance floor at Mercury which was why I picked it. I'll be requesting it in honor of my dear departed and will dance on the grave of her new zip code.

plus there are pink goats in it.

Yesterday we went over to Widman's candy to pick Christmas chocolates for our clients. George Widman was in and I noticed some photos, a drawing and die-cast models from the USS Bunkerhill.
I knew he was in Pacific. I hadn't known he was on the Bunkerhill throughout the war. We had a real good chat and some of the guys from the office were amazed about the attack on the Bunkerhill.
Good time.

He should try playing one of his personalities. I fear that it would just degrade into a flame war. Still, some doctoral psych candidate may be able to pull a case study out of it.

Is it weird that if I was hosting a dinner party and coud invite any three people, I'd invite Helmut, Linda and 5thGuards?

So I could punch him in the face. And because he's about five different people I could do it five times Or, because I've invited three of his personalities which each have four other personalities then I'd get 15 goes.

I suddenly have this image of a Jim Carrey movie whereby each time his face is punched, a different personality appears as the head snaps back ready for the next punch. lol.

Ah Friday. But not feeling well today. So you know I think I'll cut out a little today and rest.

Hope the Sioux are on television Saturday and Sunday. Games against Bemidji State I believe.
The team is struggling this year.

You all have a great weekend.
