Greetings, version 2.0 automaticly senses when you are out of beer, cheesy poofs or dip and send for more.
2.0 calls pizzaman every 8 hours
2.0 cleans your bathtub
2.0 washes dishes
2.0 "comforts" your girlfriend/wife while you are playing allowing you more time to play (but there have been so many bugs with this feature that the patch is late. Programmers and testers have had to log many miles of traval and several are now reported missing}
hmmmmm...............

Hi

2.0 takes care of all my college work so that I can test for Matrix and game all the time. This was done at the request of Mogami.

Cheers
Dan

Greetings, Welcome Back U2 (Dan) after we sent you to comfort AdmDadmans ole lady I thought we'd lost you. We have another mission for you so get some sleep, take some vitamin E eat a raw egg and await directions. (poor sod has to do school work in between these missions, the matrix play testers team is devoted to improvement)

Will 2.0 grade freshman comp papers for me so I can play more?

Than again, I've found that 1.40 speeds up my grading in its current state:

If I look over at the 'puter and see my task force burning, the student's grade is C or below. If the enemy task force is burning more than mine, the grade is C+ and up. Accursed is the student whose paper is under my pen if one of my carriers sinks - automatic failure!

Thanks Matrix!

Actually I was hoping the next version would trick my body into thinking it has already slept for the day allowing me to play a few extra hours:)

I heard that with 2.0 there is an electronic petition to Congress to lengthen the day to 28 hours so we have four more hours to play UV.:D

I can tell you that we, the beta testers, are very very close to wrapping up the testing of the patch. You will be pleased with this patch. The list of fixes as well as improvements is very long. At the risk of getting in trouble, one improvement is the save game feature auto compresses the files so you will no longer have to zip them. Another is a stand down button that puts your SQs in Training 0%. And there are many more.

Rick

Just so long as the 2.0 feature that "comforts your girlfriend/wife while you are playing allowing you more time to play" is not too good.....

Hi Guys

I not going to say when BUT!!!! I would be checking the True Updater starting later tonight early Thursday morning. More details coming soon...... Get ready for the best Uncommon Valor, in fact many testers felt its a whole new game.

David Heath

P.S. Yes saved games from older version will work with v2.0

Thursday morning???/ Which thursday morning? I really think that you guys need to move out here to the land of Oz so that when you say Thursday, you really mean the true Thursday :p

Is that because we have to start all over with getting the bugs out???;)

Just kidding. You guys give great support.

When you say it is compatable with current games do you mean that you can continue to play with the new software and no data upgrades or do you mean that all the data changes will be loaded when you load a saved game?:) I have updated to 1.40 but the data in two of my games has been the data since the patch which fixed the non-retirement problem (1.11?).:)

Hi Guys

Let me first say that the comment of "its a whole new game" was a little unclear. What I meant was do to changes in the patch (aka v2.0) some old tactics will need to be changed or you maybe sorry :D

I am working on the patch now and I do expect it to be out sometime today via our True Update program.

David

Believe me they are living in the past. When I went there in 1988 they were still in the '50s. It was very refreshing.:)
