I´m a relatively inexperienced (against human opponents, anyway) player looking for a Scenario 2 PBEM game as the Japanese.

I am looking for an opponent who is relatively inexperienced as well, or perhaps someone who has mostly played Japan so far.

I suggest the following settings:
- Fog of War on
- Advanced Weather Effects on
- Allied Damage Control on
- PDU on (not negotiable)
- Historical First Turn off (not negotiable)
- Dec 7th Surprise off
- Realistic R&D on
- Reliable USN Torpedoes off
- No Unit Withdrawals off
- Reinforcements for both sides variable

As indicated, other than PDU and Historical First Turn, everything is subject to negotiation. You can give some orders to units within the war area on the first turn, within reason, including not sending Task Force Z on its death ride if you choose. House rules are negotiable, and we can always agree on additional ones during play if we think it´s necessary.

I cannot guarantee that I´ll be able to consistently do one turn per day; I am open to trying 2 day or 3 day turn sequence to compensate for that.

Anybody interested?

Historical 7th off? Forgive me, I usually play allied, so I'd love that. But is it a misprint?

No, that´s deliberate.

Historical turn off is because I prefer to rearrange things a bit before the action starts.

December 7th surprise is off because I want to compensate my opponent for playing Scen 2 instead of Scen 1. Besides, how could I not be generous to a fellow xkcd fan?

That's thoughtful of you! I just noticed that scenario 2 is the 1st ironman , isn't it? I'll have to pass. I'm just not that good a player to give you a enjoyable fight. Thanks for considering me though.
