OK 1.Legend game so far.
But i notice the Resources flow are very bad compared to RotS.
Many builds are waiting for resources.

Does the Private AI doesn't build these mining stations on nessesary resources anymore or send mining ships out for them ? I have ton's of freighters but colonies wait for resources to build a pretty cheap small spaceport.

Maybe the Private AI spend all the resources to build up the private ships, i got around 500 freighters on a large 400ly map.

Does anyone else got similar expierence ?

I think because of the increased distances, the predesigned freighters have not enough fuel, so they are travelling at minimum speed and always want to refuel...

That wrecks the economy.
And since they are not upgraded, my solution so far is, to massively increase fuelcells on all ships, shoot down my own freighters and let the private sector rebuild them.
But dont forget to check the finances of the private sector first, so you dont ruin it by this...

However the ai empires would not be able to solve this and appear to be severly hampered, especially in large galaxies with only 400 or less stars where the distances between fuel sources get very large.

And there is actually a small ressource bug Elliot completly fixes in the coming patch 1702. Though as of yet it only seemed to involve rare ressources.

It feels like cheating if you put 600 fuel capacity on your early freighters (15x15 250stars) and you know that the other empires only have 120 fuel capacity or so for their freighters...
They will never be able to keep their economy going...

I am finding that passenger ships are not immigrating enough people to new colonies from the homeworld. In a later ROTS patch immigration was much faster and built up new colonies better.

So for now to avoid these problems, should we play smaller galaxies?

Ok it isn't a fuel problem !
A new game with 1.701.
I notice my colony ship stay at 1 unfinished component a long time.
Checking what component it is (the colonization module itself), compare what resources it need and what the planet got on stock.
I notice i am completly out of Polymer !!
Checking my Colonies, no polymer, checking Mining stations, no polymer.
Construktion ship on Automation building Gas Mining station and a Weapon research station on place without Bonus while i allready got enough Weapon Lab facility (but not a Weapon lab station) running.
Checking for polymer at the Galaxy, there are definitiv serveral Polymer close at the homeworld, at last much closer then the AI build a Gas mining station.

Ok it is definitiv a problem with the Private AI, it don't focus on Resources the Empire realy need (beside fuel Gas) !!

In my current game im playing 8*8 400 star galaxy. Ive been in the editor and many of the AIs freighters are out of fuel, so it seems effect smaller galaxies too.
