Which operations mode (Strategic, move, combat, etc.) should a land unit be in for being loaded onto an amphibious TF?
and the same question for being loaded onto a transport TF?

LCU should be in combat mode to load on amphibious TF's and strategic to load on transport TF's.

Section 6.3 in the manual deals with transporting troops, and 6.3.3.1.1 and 6.3.3.1.2 deal with your specific question. You can find them on page 122 & 123.

Amphibious TF = combat mode
Transport TF = strategic mode

Reading and understanding the tables in the manual on the unloading of certain vessels, ports with or without naval support is recommended. If not, painful waits for loading and unloading should be expected. Welcome!
