I have a problem with navigating the OOB window. Clicking on the left most button opens the OOB window. It shows the top level HQs. I'm able to expand or collapse the whole tree. Now I want to navigate the tree to check the unit leaders. So, I expand some top level HQ and continue expanding the child items. Finally, I select some sub-unit. The unit detail window opens. On this dialog there are several clickable elements, i.e. the leader name, TOE , attached units .... Clicking on each of these elemnts in turn opens a new detail dialog. Closing the dialog on focus reopens as expected the previous dialog. But, if I get to the very first opened detail window, closing it will not reopen the OOTB window in the expanded tree state. So I have to reopen it and expand it once again, which is very very annoying.

I really hope I'm missing something here and this is not supposed to work as intended, because if so it is a nightmare to navigate this window.

Thanks.

That's a common behavior in several windows, actually.

For example, in the Commander's Report / HQ you can click in the leader's name to open the leader window; but when you close the leader window it goes back to the unit windows (which you hadn't opened) instead of the commander's report, and if you close that you're back in the map, so have to reopen the commander's report manually.

It's an annoyance, but one learns to live with that.

The behavior of the windows was undoubtly programmed by programmers instead of users.  It's obvious.  Some changes will be made hopefully.  Hint, hint.
