My ship design project manager has decided to come up with a new design which main purpose was to support the main fleet on it's assault on the Naxxilian Republic homeword. The idea was to build a relatively cheap carrier vessel on a cruiser hull and keep it at size 300 or under. Mixing and matching parts, he came up with a design which had very little to no armor and/or shields, only enough engine power to get it moving, decent fuel storage, very limited combat weapons and a host of standard fighter bays. The result was a Shinku Class Light Carrier. An audiance of over 3000 was present at the starport for the birth and launching of the first Shinku Class which was named Hokshiu. She was a beauty, sparkling with lights from bow to stern, lots of exterior windows, fighter bays on her port and starboard sides, nicely setup bridge and comfortable hab areas. She looked so ready, many admirals, captains, pilots, and various crew members adored her beauty. They could not believe something of this quality could be built at such low cost. Quickly after the launching of the first Shinku, three more followed, the Jurio, Vonkia, and Halmori. They were assigned to the 1st Fleet immediately after launch. Now, these would turn the tide and give us the extra punch to defeat the Naxxilian's once and for all, or at least we had hoped. The 1st Fleet set course to the Naxxilian homeworld for a full fledged assault. Once they had warped in, the excitement had built up, we would finally see the destruction of the Naxxilians. Then, to our surprise, our ships, one by one were being destroyed. The Shinku carriers were blowing up one after another in a million pieces after just getting hit twice! The reality has finally sank in, this design was a total flop, flawed and useless, a tin can of a carrier, cheaply built and unable to withstand hits from even the lightest weapons. Their weak engine output was a complete embarrassment, as there were times when the captains of these vessels would report they have lost engines and were barely moving, we had to respond by saying..."Sir, the vessel is working as designed". We have been called every ugly name in the book by these captains who had such high hopes on these poorly designed vessels. One captain's last words were..."For goodness sake! Would somebody get this piece of trash moving, we catching hell here!!! Get us out of range and launch these damn fighters now!! Ahhhhh!!! {BOOM}" It got so bad at one point, a captain had returned to the spaceport in an escape capsule after his Shinku carrier had been blown up by a light hit from an enemy frigate. This captain was very furious and demanded to speak with the designer of this vessel immediately. Needless to say, his threats towards the project manager of the Shinku vessels got him locked away in a prison cell. The high councel has zero tolerance for captains and their crew shouting negative remarks regarding the Shinku vessels. We have heard some really bad remarks, so bad in fact that we are not even able to post the actual remarks on this forum do to guidelines. An example of what a crew member was over heard saying..."$hit ku carrier". Once again, the high councel will NOT tolerate this kind of stuff nor will they tolerate threats towards the project manager. So this all said, it now makes since that we are having a big sale. Yep that's right so if anyone interested I have some Shinku Class Light Carriers for sale in the bargin bin.
