Mid way into this monster campagin of mine (1943), the only planes availble are still the transports and gliders when playing as the German. I could not find any fighters, ground-attacks or bombers for purchase in either Western or Eastern European theater, during offensive or defensive battles. I have scrolled down ARMOR, ARTILLERY, INFANTRY and MISC without any luck. Is Allied air superiority so strong that I would not even get a single Bf109 up in the air? ------------------ "Steel On Target" -AOAC class motto

1stlt: You don't get regular combat aircraft as units to select as part of your core force. This is true across all the nationalities; transports/gliders are the only AC available in core.

To us intelligence types this is a sad reality. I miss my core Storch from SPWW2. It gave me some battle field intelligence that was otherwise missing. OB hounds can anyone "create" something like this is SPWAW? I've tried using the OB editor butwithout success. ------------------ An old soldier but not yet a faded one. OK, maybe just a bit faded.

Afraid the capability was 86'd, Larry I tried to get an experimental helo unit to work, but the old 'height change' menu is gone, it appeared to fly at less than treetop level, but not hitting the trees?! I miss them too. ------------------ Mike Amos Meine Ehre Heisst Treue
