By Feb '43 I have amassed a rather large amount of Bulgarian manpower and armaments in my pool.

What use are these guys? Do these resources get utilized by German combat units (seems unlikely)? Are they used to form support squads a la Hiwis? I have not been able to find any info in the manual on this.

For the longest time I thought I was richer in manpower than I really was, until I discovered that you had to filter the pools by Nationality to get a true picture. Rather than half a million men I have <100k German manpower in reserve and many of these are in transit. Quite a shock, initially. :)

The Bulgarians don't participate. We should really zero out their pool so it doesn't mislead people.

Bulgaria was a weird German ally - they never declared war on Russia.

What about adding some of their stuff to the german pools - volunteers, license prodution/arms deals.
Are you sure about Bulgarian armament production?
BTW the Slovakians don' t seem to have armament industries on-map but somehow they receive armament points from somewhere.

Excess German armaments can be exported to their allies, this could be where the Slovakian armaments come from.

Even weirder: the Soviets declared war on them anyways. Still weirder: the Bulgarians surrendered to them without a shot.

Yes, and as a reward for not invading the Soviet Union, the Bulgarians got decades of communist tyranny and oppression.
