Settings:
15 X 15 sections, 700 star spiral galaxy
19 already expanded alien empires
High corruption with military dictatorship
Starting tech, hard difficulty.

Phase 1

Let's face it, the Hegenomy is now the laughing stock of the galaxy as multiple FTL drives have flinged prototypes beyond the reach of the glaxy as we cannot figure out the correct braking formula that does not reduce the ship and its partipants to goo. After multiple executions of research groups from each failure, a chance encounter from a deep space broadcast revealed the formula and the Dyahut begins their reach out to the stars.

I like the setting. Very challenging, but this will make it so much more interesting. I'll certainly will keep a close eye on this one.

Phase 2

As luck would have it, a friendly Sluken neighbor were discovered to the south. Tributes were given as they have three times the military and apologies for devouring some colonists on the Hegonomy homeworld. Also, a powerful battleship was discovered at the edge of the Sluken empire and the Hegenomy grabbed it seconds before the Sluken scoutship. More apologies had to be given since there were a quite of few Sluken splatters on the capital ship viewscreen.

The bad new is to the north, the hated Ugnari and Quemenos are to the north with fourteen colonies and four times the military power combined. I must treat the Sluken empire with respect as this time, the Hegenomy will have to suffer being the buffer as war will be declared soon between the empires.
(pictures to come later)
