Does anyone know where I can find the latest version of this scenario? Over the years it has always been passed from one kind soul to another by email. If someone could drop it into mine, I'd be grateful: menschenfresser [AT] rcn [DOT] com

I haven't played it in a very long time and might like to start a PBEM game once I have a quick look over the scen to refamiliarize myself with it.

Thanks...

Email received. Thanks Larry!

You seem doubtful when and where you got this, so I guess I should ask. The file says 1.18, but the briefing says 1.17. Can anyone confirm that this is the latest/last version?

I seem to have a really fuzzy memory about playing somebody using this scenario but I don't remember who sent it to me, or where I got it, or exactly which version it is etc.  Sorry dude.

You may ask in the TDG forum. They were working in a new, T3-compatible version of the scenario.

It's a pity that Jeremy McDonald never released it publicly.

A forum search here at Matrix turned up several references. One, almost 4 years old, from Ben mentioning he and Jeremy were playtesting v1.22.

I have 1.22 in my e-mail inbox (we played the scenario through in that version so it works). Just sent to Mensch. Anyone else want?

Incidentally, we were working on a map for a 25km/hex version. Got about halfway.

I'd like a copy. Please send to nelmsm(at)amaonline(dot)com I've played the earlier versions and I really enjoy it.

I haven't played this in, oh I don't know, 5 years...against Shane. That was version...dunno. 1.14? In any case it's one of the best TOAW scens ever. In my top five.

Anyone want a game? I'll take either side. If it helps, I was never very good either defending or overrunning Amerika. IIRC, I lost every time I played this.

Only taking one game at the moment. Email me.

I'd say it's the single scenario which has given me the most satisfaction overall. Too bad the old TDG site is down or I could point folks to the several excellent AARs which used to be up there.

Anyway, sent to everyone who has requested it. N.B. I think there was a 1.23 but I don't know where I have a copy. Will post here if I find it. I don't think Jeremy would mind me distributing it.

Fall Grau is a scenario developed by Jeremy Mac Donald with help from TDG. It covers a fictional Axis invasion of North America.

It's interesting because it gives the players a wide range of options and is played out at an epic scale without being grandiose (i.e. you don't have to clear your schedule and stock up on canned goods when a turn comes in). The two sides are very different to play but both have an opportunity to attack and defend. Unlike some strategic level scenarios it is sufficiently well tested to offer an interesting game right up to the full turn limit.

It was designed for COW. Any COW scenario can be converted but you have to check that none of the events have broken during conversion.

You got lucky. About the first time I've been on the site in six months.
