just a quick one: is it possible to modify the ship speed (regular and ftl) by some modifier or multiplicator ? i didnt find anything in the race.txt's ?

Well in the Startup.ini file in the main DW directory there is a value named 'hyperdrivespeed' but I didn't test if it does anything.

I remember testing that file, but can't for the life of me remember the results. It does change the universal hyperdrive speeds, but I don't think the effects were very noteworthy IIRC.

Your memory is correct Igard. You can tweak that file, but the resulting speed changes
are not that significant. Although I will say that much depends on the type of hyperdrive
component available at the game start (i.e. the starting tech level....1, 3, 5, etc.).

That is interesting to know; I think I would like to modify it race by race, technology level and so on... to give certain advantages to some and so on...
But that is very interesting...
