Hi Played today my first game of Legens must say is a great game but I do have a little problem.

I played a game on hard and it worked just fine my fleets demolished all my enemys and so on happy planet bombing but then a new one system empire with way of darkness plops into my backjard. I am way of Ancients so I said that can not be! So just a quick lock at the empire screen I am way stronger, ok his ships are a little better but I have many more So attack, so fare so good one planet down but I lose a lot of ships and every time an enemy ship is near destruktion it just jumps away And then I retreat and see they not only colonisiesd a new planet but attacked my planets too!!

Ok they seem to be some kind of arch enemy but are they not a little bit overpowerd? The ships they have are just crasy. I would say it is ok when they had many but not fife or ten ships that demolish two of my fleets grrrr. The bar that represented my empire was at least 15 or 20 times as large as his, or does this bar not represent military strengh?

Edit: Ah and I have a question I spend nearly the complete evening repairing an unfinished construktion some desolation? moon thing semed to me like a death star firepower 30.000!!!! but When it was narly finished it just wanished?? It was not at the construktion side anymore and I cant find it in the ship list, dont tell me I repaired his engine and then the thing just trolled away Now tha I think about It these way of darkness guy appeard around the time the thing should have finished mhm is there a connektion?

It was sabotaged to explode, so that you can't use it against them... whoever "they" are. It's like Star Wars...

"Ha Rebels we got a second one!" *rebel sneaks in and detonates it before it can shot*

Vader: "NoooOoOOOooooOoOOoo!"

And your military strength is shown in the numbers aside your bar. The bar is the overall strategic value.

How to get rid of the guardians:

1) Find a WD and repair it without getting sabotaged.
2) Go to guardian spe with your main fleet to keep them distracted
3) Let the planet vanish

They are so weak with only 1 colony... and 1 shot.

Just fyi: He was Way of the Ancients government, the others were Way of Darkness. So he wasn't up against the guardians.

Edit: to the original poster: Yes, those others are so hard by design. They should pose a challenge. They must have some crazy economic and growth bonuses in addition to owning all the tech from the start. As the Guardians do. You should ally with them and all other non-insectoid races. Now is the time to be generous with any tech advantage you may have over your allies-to-be.

Also: prepare for assaults by planet destroyers.

A spy blowing it up is one possibility. I think I've seen it on a ship graveyard in action with a ship under a rival AI's constructor when the empire in question was at war. The espionage teams seem to go on a sabotage rampage during a war.

There are other reports of ships and monsters on graveyard sites turning invisible and inaccessible. In those cases, the site being at the very edge of the system where it is located in may play a role.
