Santa’s wargaming elves at Matrix are going on holiday but our store is still hard at work getting gifts to you and yours!

Matrix Games would like to wish everyone a blessed Christmas and a happy New Year! In the spirit of holiday cheer, Matrix Games will be running with an abbreviated staff effective Friday, December 16th at 5PM EST until Tuesday, January 3rd. As a result, some replies from Matrix Games may be delayed.

Is there still a wargamer you know in need of a gift? Despite the holiday staffing break, the Matrix Games online store is still working hard to fill orders in time for Christmas. And don't forget we have a great holiday sale event going on right now. A huge selection of Matrix Games products are now on sale at up to 30% off or more, but act fast because this sale will end Midnight on January 8th!

Just a quick question, but do you intend to provide a 33% rebate to all of your customers who paid full price for Gary Grigsby's War in the East? Or were we just unlucky enough to have bought the game at the wrong time of year?

Is the 33% off Cross of Iron because 33% of it is not working?

No answer from the powers that be.

Why am I not surprised?

Matrix Games wouldn't want a customer revolt to deal with, would they?

What a question. Why would they do that, and why would you expect them to? My brother got a toyota earlier this year, now they have holiday sales, would you expect toyota, or any other company, should make up the difference? Get real. Tough luck.
Merry Christmas and thank you Matrix/slitherine!

Ever think Matrix may have over-priced War in the East? Ever think Matrix is running a sale just to achieve their projected sales numbers in terms of units sold?

Just a quick tip...if you don't like the question, complain to one of the mods or just don't answer.

I've got a about a dozen additional replies I can make, but I'm sure any one of them will get me thrown off the board.

So, what if they are?
Quick tip back at you: The price is what it is. If,in your opinion, it was overpriced, you should not have bought it.
Again, tough luck for getting it before the sale.
One more tip: You shouldn't derail a Holiday thread with a price complaint.

In keeping with the Holiday Spirit, I won't post what I'm really thinking about you and your posts.

Alright, so I made a helpdesk ticket for this, but I guess posting it here as well won't hurt. I can no longer access the christmas sale page, even though the sale is supposed to run for two more days. I was planning on holding off on any purchases until now, to make sure I didn't overspend (what with december usually being an expensive month), so I hope this is fixed soon. :)

Nikolaj,

You are right, I just tried to access the Holiday Sale page myself and see that it isn't showing up for me either. I did go directly to product/store page, and it looks like the sale prices are still showing up there, if you can remember the games you were interested in.

I actually ended up buying the games yesterday, anyway. :)

The games in question were Field of Glory, plus a couple of expansions, as well as Panzer Command: Ostfront.

The only problem was that without the list on the sale page, I wasn't sure if the games were still discounted, since it doesn't show the original price on the product pages. I ended up deciding that they probably were discounted, though (I'm pretty sure that's the case, anyway).

So now I'm trying to figure out the rules of FoG. :)

I was trying to order War in the East today as well, but the link for the holiday sale seems to not be working.

I'm pretty sure the price you see for WiTE in the Store is the Holiday Sale price right now.
