Is this CVE capable of normal flight operations?

PBEM Scn#2...she just showed up EMPTY (was expecting AC as I thought she had a double load during Scn#1)....  :(

But yes, the jeep carriers can indeed run ops OSO.  As you would expect they are much more "delicate" than your big CVs so be cautious with them.

Uses:
- (early war, unless pressed by CV losses) - train up Marine Sqdns for use on CVs, ferry Marine Sqdns to fwd operating land locations
- (mid war) - replenishment groups using the "VRF" Sqdns to keep your CV's AC strength at peak while at sea and in fwd areas
- (late war) - supplement CVs once the IJ threat is low

I believe she has a capacity of 16.

I place an understrength marine fighter squadron on her and use her to provide CAP over my replenishment CVEs since the replenishment CVEs can't perform normal flight Ops to protect themselves when their replenishment squadrons are full.

She also makes an excellent "ferry" carrier when you want to fly in a squadron to a "hot" base.

That's how I use her.
