Hi,

I have tried to find a fix on the forum but don't see how to make the game go to widescreen view. I have the latest update (not Beta) installed which was released on 12 Jan, 2012. My laptop supports up to 1600x900 native. The game I believe is playing at 1024x768 which appears as a box on my screen. Any help to resolve would be greatly appreciated.

The answer is simple. It doesn't support wide screen, it runs in 1024x768 - end of.

I have 32-bit Vista and running EiA in compatibility mode for Windows XP and Normal window mode. I've got a 1680x1050 widescreen. EiA fills the widescreen fine for me. Maybe fiddle with your compatibility mode options and shortcut run options?

Thanks guys - I had to turn my screen res to 1024x768 native in the NVIDIA settings before playing and it fills in the entire screen now. After I'm done then switch it back to my regular res. Kind of a PITA but it did the trick and makes for a more enjoyable/larger screen.

Odd, I play the game on a couple of systems and it automatically switches me to 1024x768 when I start the game and back again when I exit. It makes the game look a little stretched but in all honesty I prefer it now to how it looks normally.
