Yeah "little warning".

Nasty is all I'm gonna say about them.

For the "other" side. Prolly gave them a few Aegis cruisers.

Hi guys, is this the most up to date scenario to play against allied AI? If not, know where I can find it?

Thanks.

So, just recently started a new campaign.  Things are going ok in the Pacific, DEI, and Hongkong.

China - wow.  Aggressive AI.  Being assaulted across the board.  I've had to retrench in most areas.  I didn't pull out of SinYang(?) in time and have 4 units caught there.  I can't get reinforcements there in time.  They will get mauled badly in a turn or two.  Strategically not an issue, but tactically a set back.  Allied assaults also happening on Nanchang, Kaifeng, Kaoping, Kweisui, and Paotow!  ANDY!!!

So you wanted a little feedback.

I am so far 5 month into the game and must say I am impressed by an almost flawless AI performance. I didnt have seen the AI doing one of these stupid things I remembered it does sometimes. Thats an amazing AI game so far and many thanks for that.

Oh and these Dutch $$$$boats.........you are mean.

Andy,

Great scenario over all. It's nice to have a challenge.

Just one thing (please everyone don't hate me for saying this btw), I think Allied troop deployments espcially in the Philippines (and maybe Singapore / DEI) are a little too high. For example, I counted total Allied Philippine AV in Luzon is 2100+. This is just a little too tough. I can at best muster ~2800 AV by Jan 42'. This does not appear to be sufficient to crush their holding in Bataan.

If I'm doing anything wrong, please tell me.

Rgds,

You have to really focus your attacks in this scenario. Based upon my recons, I can't go after more than one major target at a time. I've had to empty HK and bring them to the PI to have enough forces there. Pretty sure that I will have to send them back to China once PI falls to hold on there. ... getting ready for Clark attack now.

... I managed to survive Sinyang by a lucky die roll I think. The rest of China is still a fiasco ... trying to get combat units freed up and to the front lines while holding on barely against the numerous attacks.

"Oh and these Dutch $$$$boats.........you are mean." I haven't met these yet. Those Dorniers are bad enough ... sheesh. They hit almost everything!

So you concentrated your forces and went after the Philippines first THEN Singapore? How long until you wrapped everything up?

Dec 30 - Finally almost finished the first month.

So, Clark and Manila have fallen. The AI withdrew to Bataan ... very good move. I have been bombing Bataan since 9 Dec, so the forts should not be above lvl3. Still a LOT of units (35 units, +120,000 men, +1000 guns, +500 AFV's) there and they seem to still have supply. I won't be ready to attack for another few days. Having to rebuild some Div's first.

Mindinao is almost secured. As of today I own all the bases except Dumanquillas (Zamboanga just fell to amphib assault). The dutch Dorniers are really troublesome and their subs too. I need the MKB for both air and ASW before I can start the DEI assaults.

Well, that is my plan but I'm a long way from completing this portion. My troops are still moving down the Malay Penninsula. I've just taken Taiping and Temuloh. I've just started sweeping Singers to establish air superiority, and hope to start bombing in a few days to hold the fort construction.
