So I love the idea of these energy to fuel converters. My question is; is the fuel generated by this component stored in the fuel canisters part of the station its on, or is it converted to "cargo"?

So when adjusting my designs to fit this, should I massively increase the storage space to have enough fuel stored to say quickly refuel several ships in succession without running low immediately? Or is the fuel generated enough to keep the pumps flowing so to speak without the need for a lot of storage?

Anyone try mounting more then one of these massive and expensive components on one base? Was it worth it?

I think this component doesn't need storage as long as it's stationary. On my Deep Space Refuelling Depots the amount of hydrogen and caslon is well in the millions and they only have 20k storage space. And surprisingly that amount appeared as soon as the bases were built (and did not increase or diminish no matter how many ships refuelled) so perhaps this is some sort of a bug.

It's like a Gas mining harvester but it don't need a Gas/ice planet to create fuel.

Since this component is very big it isn't usefuel for ships.  But on Refuel ships or Stations its doing a good job. You can deploy the Resupply ships at any location you want and don't need a resource anymore.
