AI abondoning isolated cities

I'm playing 1.05.53 and I noticed that whenever I isolate a soviet city, the garrison will abandon if there is a hex to go to that is closer to its supply source even if it is still isolated. This seems odd as if the units had stayed put they would be a lot tougher to destroy. Probably should be fixed.

I noticed that too, playing a 43-45 game I took Lennigrad and in taking it they pulled out. To be exact moved all unit moved out of the main capital hex and I slowly took the city they the Soviets made a better stand at the canal. Joe
