Somebody check out this link and tell me if you can download anything from this web page.  It's supposed to be my shared folder with a bunch of AARs in it and stuff like that.  It would be really cool if I just posted a link to the shared folder and you guys could download anything you wanted to from it.

Works for me!

Great. Now I'll just post stuff to the shared folder and you guys can just download anything you want from there. I'll tell you when I add
something there so you won't have any "wasted trips" to the web page. Cool.

It's now turn 57 and I've been desperately trying to plug the holes in my lines and Kevin has been breaking open my plugs. Here's a section of the front line near Kiev where for the last four turns in a row I've had to move people in there to "build another front line" around the broken open place. And I've not finished yet it seems. I'm thinking Kevin is breaking through my lines in slow motion so far. I'm going to have to pull a bunch of people back so that they don't get surrounded and destroyed. Good thing this Soviet Offensive is almost over. I can't hang in there much longer this way.

Here's a look at the HRS losses on the Axis side. I'm down to 36K HRS squads and almost none on hand anymore. This is reflected in the size of my units now. A significant portion of the Axis units are 1/2 strength and most all of them are tired and worn out. I'm pretty sure Kevin is feeling the pressure too. In the playback for turn 57 I saw at least two instances of Soviet units evaporating during the attack. So he's probably had some high losses too. This part of the game is brutal to both sides.

Here's turns 53 through 57 and you can just see how the front line is moving to the west near Kiev.

Here's the front lines near Kiev as of turn 58. Kevin has made another breakthrough and this time I'm pretty sure I can't plug the hole. This may be the beginning of the end for the Axis forces in this area. Kevin simply has to surround and destroy all these tired units and there will be a gigantic, humongous hole in the Axis front lines. This Soviet offensive is almost over but Kevin has done enough damage already to have this offensive be called a success. The next few turns will be sort of interesting for those of us who are following along with this game.

Looks like your NuB is doing well for himself, eh? How many games would this be for him?

I'd assume from this that this isn't the first wargame he's played!

Have you uploaded the .sals for this? Not findin' 'em!

In order to get caught up in the posting of SAL files I've combined turns 50 through 57 ( inclusive ) into one zip file and uploaded it here:

http://www.mediafire.com/file/b45s131qhd57ec5/END_OF_TURN_DO_NOT_SEND_FITE%20larry%20to%20Kevin%20T50-T57.zip

Although I must say nobody has ever asked for the SAL files before.  Thanks 1_Lzard for your interest.

Okay, it's turn 60........time to compare the losses from turn 50 with those from turn 60. The difference between the two columns is the stuff I lost in the Soviet Offensive. About 16,000+ HRS squads is the main point.

According to the news summary the Soviet Offensive is over but it looks like Kevin is going to destroy several of my units in the pocket he has created near Kiev. Here's the front lines as of turn 61.

Here's the front lines from turn 64. That surrounded pocket is almost gone. Lotta good troops went down the drain.

ohh, great AAR.
But you need to trash the soviet airforce at the ground from the start. As of now hes production will be wastly more than historic, so in short you are funed i belive.

however when Fite is updatet, it will hold a but more flavour, and a max 40% turn loss i belive.

Awesome AAR. Grats to Larry for being able to hold the line, but losing those troops in that encirclement has got to be putting excess pressure on those units left from Mitte and Sud.
