Hi,

DW has crashed as a point in the game, and I do not appear able to get past it.

I've uploaded a save game that is a few minutes before the crash. Filename is:-

"We-Boskaran 2806-11-27 (Donchik - Game crashes shortly after this point).dwg"

Attached is my dxdiag(64) file

As an update, I've discovered that the windows message "Distant Worlds as stopped working - press here to close" can be ignored!

If you drag it out of the way, you can return to DW save your game where you are and shut down and then reload to continue.

I also discovered that if you entirely ignore it it does not appear to do anything, and you can keep playing (Eventually it stops appearing and the game continues as normal). It would be nice to know if the message is entirely spurious, of has the wrong information in it. Maybe it should be a warning of some kind?

I'm having the same issue and I also didn't close down the game to continue playing.

The game seems to work mostly fine, but I did encounter one problem; I can't seem to transfer characters anymore. When I do transfer one, they go into "transfer limbo", but they never arrive at their destination, even years later. I checked the dates on each transfer, and one might say something like, "will arrive on 2798.02.05". So I check again on 02.06, but the transfer doesn't go through. The date gets bumped out again, as if the character was given a fresh transfer order.

I don't know if this helps with fixing the issue, but I figured it can't hurt to mention it.
