Hi there,

If this has already been address, my apologies. If so, please kindly point me in the right direction and I shall happily wander off ...

I'm running DW Legends 1.7.0.6 (at least that's what it tells me when I go to the update page, and that I'm up to date), which I have just updated to about a week or so back.

Since updating the game has become a HUGE resource hog, bogging down not only itself, but my entire system (I've got 5gigs of ram, so running the game shouldn't be a problem).

Previously I have had no trouble running the game, even up to 1000+ stars. Now, regardless of my game settings (including running it on minimum settings), it's downright painful to play, becoming clunky and excruciatingly slow in responding to commands.

Any thoughts or suggestions on how to handle this, or if it's something I'm inadvertently doing?

OK, figured it out. It was the Star Density in options. For some reason, moving that setting up (even the slightest) causes huge problems and slows everything on my computer down.

Anyway, happy ending.

I'll post some original alien races here soon!
