KOREAN WAR

New install Korean War 2.0


Just uploaded the new install, Korean War 2.0 available here- https://rapidshare.com/files/3279615013/Korean%20War%202.0.zip

Alternately, this one from my Dropbox!-https://dl.dropbox.com/u/58654449/Korean%20War%202.0.zip

As before, download the zip file, then extract into Matrix Games/John Tillers Campaign Series/, this will then give you C:/Matrix Games/John Tillers Campaign Series/Korean War 2.0. I removed all my earlier scenario's, since they are all being redone with the new units for H2H, the new Imjin is in there however. Testing is still on now for Night Attack, Chipy'ong-ni, and Crombez, if there is any interest! Please DO NOT overwrite an earlier install of the game, that will just cause problems, this is a new install!! Any problems please ask me! This will replace all earlier versions, download this game, finish playing opponents with any open games on your old install, then delete it!

K'TALAN MOD

1)Patch 1.0-http://dl.dropbox.com/u/58654449/Patch1.0.zip

Unzip this into the K'talan Wf directory

2)Updated Alt Italian camo- http://dl.dropbox.com/u/58654449/Alt%20Italian%20europe%20paint.zip

For use after 9/43, or even before, if you so desire. Is a drab green as opposed to the desert colored kit in use in desert warfare. Use JSGME to use this. NB run JSGME once after game is installed, then close, it will make the necessary file structure to use it! Unzip this file into the Mods folder.

3)Updated K'talan Desert Camo- http://dl.dropbox.com/u/58654449/Ktalan%20Desert%20camo.zip

Use JSGME to use this during desert battles, unzip into Mods folder

4)New Exe's- http://dl.dropbox.com/u/58654449/New%20exe%27s.zip

edited so the correct sides are displayed, ie K'talan, Human Forces, on in-game menus. Unzip into main K'talan folder

5)Sound Patch-http://dl.dropbox.com/u/58654449/Sound%20Patch.zip

Recently discovered while doing some sounds, that there were alot more sounds than were showing up! Edited Sounds.dat to use them, and added in the necessary explosion files. This also has two picture files, just unzip this patch into your main K'talan WF folder.

Let me know if you need help!

Hope you guys enjoy!! Couple of scenarios being tested for these also!!

In the Korean mod a little update from my end:
We're testing Crombez scenario Relieving the 23rd. Huib and I are doing a test on Disaster at the Kum River scenario. I'm looking at playing Osan scenario with another friend of mine.

As for developed scenarios I have one out there covering the east side of the Chosin Reservoir on the first night of the battle as RCT "Faith" tries to hold the line. I'm looking and gathering data on the SW side of the reservoir for another scenario dealing with the 5th Marines.

For anyone who likes more on Korea you should check out this mod its worth it!

Status: offline 		Thanks man, and Kudos to all you fellows willing to help test out scenarios and such, a big undertaking. Sometimes very frustrating also, to need to play a scenario lots of times until it is balanced!!

Status: offline 		Hmm, when you open the game, up top, in the menu under Help-about, what does it say? I am having no problems with either building or resuming any of the DCG's I have. I may just supply a new version, I evidently a while ago converted the game to the new UI as in EF, WF, RS. Was messing around with it last night to see if anything is amiss. Might not be perfect, but is better than the older version. Do you have my email? I can send you a campaign in progress, see if you are able to open it.
