Yip, what Ed said.

Always remember uncheck this :-

I've got the Romulan characters finished and I'm testing the game now. Too late for a release tonight, but probably tomorrow.

Balance is still an issue. I tried nerfing the Klingons a bit, but they're still kicking my ass.

What version of the game will this mod be compatible with? By this i mean which Legends update?

Hello Tophat;

I've been testing for Igard using the Legends version through the current 1.7.0.13 with no
issues except as he's stated concerning races' victory conditions and play balance (which
needs some tweaking). I'm sure though Igard will either get to it himself or possibly even
have me research it further as I'm able. Also remember, his first release version is canon to
Star Trek and doesn't include the Shakturi.

If you didn't remember, the keypad '0' takes the screenshots.

Thanks ehsumrell! I had forgotten about the 0 key for screens.

Klingons do tend to be that way! No racial profiling comments please

Ahh,must start as the federation as going through the mod will be an exploration adventure.

Igard;
Just got back from a covert mission to Kronos.....

Come to find out that the Klingons mixed some Blood Wine with Romulan Ale. (Wonder WHERE they
got THAT from....hmmmm?)
{Anyone seen DATA lately?}

Even half drunk, Klingons are among the best warriors in the galaxy!

Could be the reason Kang and his boys are whippin' your ass!

P.S. Thanks for the Cloaking Device specs!

I have bought a bottle of Chianti wine to celebrate the release but I have no idea how Chianti translates into Klingon as google translate has not been made for Klingon until now.

Thanks Ash. Yes, quite exhausting at times. Especially early on when I looked forward at all the work ahead!

Mind you, I still don't consider it finished. Lots of tweaking and a few odds and ends to sort out first. At least it's released and out there for people to enjoy.

Hey McKinstry, it's linked in the first post of this thread. There's a short summary of the mod features and the optional total conversion mod, then the download link is the 1st link in the post under the title, 'Download'. Scroll down further for the download link to the optional total conversion mod.

Enjoy, and any questions, just ask.

Yeah.....I thought that mixing Romulan Ale with Klingon Blood Wine would cause problems!

Anyway, congrats Igard....and it's been a pleasure to assist and watch you work this thing out
over time amid ALL of the other things you had to do (your model making, Ale security, etc.)!

I'll be in the Briar patch if anyone needs me!

home in on MY cargo bay of Ale. I don't think so!

Luxwana Troi -- Federation Ambassador... Really IGard?
I mean I can see that she would have some diplomatic uses...
Example:
ehsumrell1: transmit the coordinates of the Briar Patch IMMEDIATELY or I will beam Luxwana Troi to your homeworld.
He might give me the coordinates to the Briar Patch, but diplomacy it ain't! Well, maybe gunboat diplomacy...

Seriously: nice work! And the music: EXTRAORDINARY!

LOL, that romulan is indeed something to remember. What's that in his hand, a mini light saber?
About that ale, you see Ed and I had a little bet going and...well, he has that damn surgical table. It's actually all his fault.

Nice work Igard. :) Looking great.

I'm making a new 'Let's Play' series using the mod which I'll place in the AAR subforum.

Seen a couple of things so far that may need a little tweaking.

1. When playing as the Dominion you start with a large group of colony governors. Not sure if this is by design or not.

2. In the Let's Play series I meet the Dominion and they are called the 'Epsilon Bo?tis Authority'. I'm guessing the font can't handle the umlaut on the second 'o'.

Anyhow, really enjoying the detail you've put in. :) Thanks.

It's the fake information rod Mr.Garrik had to plant on the soon to be dead in a shuttle accident senator. ahh,the intricate layers of cardassian intelligence plots. The truth, sprinkled with lies and disinformation combined with honorable federation officers who'd never resort to murder...............ad you have the Romulans joining th fight against the Dominion. So to answer your question Mr.data not a light-sabre but a TORCH TO LIGHT THE FIRE.

Are you playing as the Federation? Grrr........grrr......grr I'm feeling a potential Klingon growl coming on.

Not to worry,he does a great job with those "lets Play" AAR's........people should really check them out. I will choose a different race for an AAR,it will be a coin flip but probably the Klingon's/Cardassian's/Romulan's or random chance?

Well we agree on that...
I did not say I was going to do that... I am just saying she has diplomatic uses...
Although that beaming her to your homeworld might be construed as a crime against humanity...

Thanks for the great comments guys! Really glad you're all enjoying the mod.

@Data, Senator Vreenak appeared in what's considered one of the best DS9 episodes, 'In the Pale Moonlight'. As Tophat points out, that's a fake data rod in his hand, that Sisko tried to pass off as evidence of Dominion plots to attack the Romulans. He delivers the following line so melo-dramatically, it's become one of the most referenced quotes from DS9. "IT'S A FAAAAAAAAKE!!!!!"

@ehsummrel1, thanks for all your help, buddy. Made a huge difference having all your character references there, and just knowing that I wasn't alone on this helped big time. Especially for keeping my sanity!

@TJ, thanks mate! Really glad you like the music too!

@Tophat, thanks for your constant support. Really helped motivate me to carry on when I lost steam. Looking forward to your AAR, happy trekking my friend!

@Das123, Love your 'Let's Play' series, though I haven't had the time to sit through a full one yet! They are very enjoyable and informative. Good find with the Dominion governors, that'll be fixed in the next update as well as the system name for Epsilon Bootis. I've also noticed that I added more than 1 Weyoun ambassador character. This was to emulate his 're-cloning' procedure that he undertakes after he dies, however I failed to realise that the character doesn't need to die for the next group of characters to spawn. Hope that makes sense. So I've removed those 'extra' Weyoun characters from the next release as they don't work like that.

Thanks again, all.

Happy Trekking everyone.

Don't make me mist up Igard, or I'll have to go have a face-stretching session! LOL!

The honor and pleasure was all mine mate! Between you and Elliot, I stay busy testing (and PLAYING!).
Let me know when we'll start on the next era (Kirk era probably?). In the meanwhile, hail me if
you need, and guard that Romulan Ale shipment I redistributed from Data for your efforts.
